Cold storage effective volume calculation

I. Tonnage calculation of cold storage:

1.Assembled light steel structure cold storage:

Fabricated light steel structure cold storage tonnage=Internal volume of cold room×Volume utilization factor×Unit weight of food.

Internal volume of cold storage room with assembled light steel structure=(Kune)long×W×H(cube):

Volume utilization factor of fabricated light steel structure cold storage(Stacking): 500 ~ 1000 cubic meters = 0.40;

1001 ~ 2000 cubic meters = 0.50; 2001 ~ 10000 cubic meters = 0.55; 10001 ~ 15000 cubic meters = 0.60:

Volume utilization factor of fabricated light steel structure cold storage(Shelf): 4-6 layers of shelves, effective volume * 0.5;

6-8 layers of shelves, effective volume * 0.6; 8-10 layers of shelves, effective volume * 0.8; 10 or more shelves; effective volume * 1.0-1.4

2.Cold cold storage of civil structure

Civil structure cold storage tonnage= Internal volume of refrigerated room×Volume utilization factor×Unit weight of food.

Internal volume of cold storage room in civil structure= (Inside the library)×W×H(Cubic), due to the influence of column distance and effective floor height in civil cold storage, 

the space utilization rate is far lower than that of light steel structure (especially multi-layer cold storage)

Cold volume utilization factor of civil structure(Stacking); 500 ~ 1000 cubic meters = 0.30; 1001 ~ 2000 cubic meters = 0.35; 2001 ~ 10000 cubic meters = 0.40; 

10001 ~ 15000 cubic meters = 0.45.

Cold volume utilization factor of civil structure(Shelf); 3 layers of shelves, effective volume * 0.40; 4-6 layers of shelves, effective volume * 0.5

Unit weight of cold food:

Frozen meat= 0.40 tons / cubic

Frozen fish= 0.47 ton / cubic

Fresh fruits and vegetables= 0.23 tons / cubic

Machine ice= 0.75 ton / cubic

Iced egg= 0.70 ton / cubic

Frozen lamb= 0.25 tons / cubic

Deboned meat or by-products= 0.65 tons / cubic

Frozen Poultry in Boxes= 0.55 tons / cubic

Refrigerated fresh vegetables= 0.23 tons / cubic

Fruits in refrigerated containers= 0.35 ton / cubic

For other products, calculated based on actual density and weight.

Third, the calculation method of the amount of cold storage storage;

1.In the warehousing industry, the formula for calculating the maximum storage volume is:

Effective content volumem³ = total content (m³)×0.9 maximum storage volume (tons) = total internal volume (m³) /2.5m³

2.Effective storage volume of actual maximum storage in cold storage(m³) = Total inner volume (m³)×0.9 Maximum storage volume (tons) = total internal volume (m³)×(0.4-0.6) /2.5m³ (0.4-0.6) is determined by the size of the cold storage and its storage.
